What Are The Non-Surgical Facelift Alternatives?

Facial rejuvenation treatments help you look younger and revitalised. This, in turn, enhances your confidence and well-being as well as your appearance. Without the cost, invasiveness, or recovery time today’s options will enable you to regain a youthful look without going under the knife. So what are the non-surgical facelift alternatives? Take a look at just a few:

1. Thermage

Thermage is the most recent method for non-surgical facelifts and is carried out with a machine that heats the upper layer of skin through radio waves. This causes the cell repair to speed up and leads to firmer skin with improvements of tighter existing collagen and stimulating new collagen production. It doesn’t require any anaesthetic and you can go home on the same day of the procedure.

2. Laser Skin Resurfacing

Lasers remove layers of skin with the precision meaning you can get rid of scars, wrinkles, and blotches. A full facial treatment can take up to two hours, and after about a week your skin will start to dry and peel, taking another five to ten days for the skin to heal fully.

3. Laser Lifts

Laser lift options create a controlled injury that melts fat and tightens the skin – ideal for the lower face and neck. Very small incisions are made under the chin and behind the ears, followed by the introduction of a fine laser threaded under the skin to remove the fat and tighten the area.

4. Threadlift

This non-invasive facelift involves a cosmetic surgeon inserting thin threads into the face through tiny incisions made in the areas to be treated. The threads attach to the skin tissue and are pulled back to lift and smooth the face – the thread ends are hidden and results are immediate. The procedure takes less than two hours and the results can last up to 18 months.

5. Botox

Botox injections use various forms of botulinum toxin to temporarily paralyse facial muscle activity. Taking about 24-72 hours to work the appearance of wrinkles is greatly reduced, due to the relaxed muscle no longer being able to contract. Upper facial fine lines and wrinkles can be treated effectively, as well as loose skin in the neck area.

6. Dermal Fillers

The loss of facial volume causing sagging skin can be addressed in just a few minutes without surgery with fillers that fill lines and spaces and plump up the skin. Hyaluronic acid is the popular choice providing an immediate result that needs to be maintained every six to nine months.

7. Fat Transfer

This procedure is an alternative to fillers as fat can be grafted from other areas of your body and then reinjected into the face to address the loss of volume. It can be used for lines, crow’s feet, scars, and skin depressions very successfully.

8. The Liquid Facelift

This signature best non-surgical facelift is exclusively designed by Dr Q at the Luxe Skin Clinic. Treatment sees the rejuvenating effects within an hour with no surgery or downtime to be concerned about. Before your treatment, you’ll have a consultation and a plan will be developed to meet your goals. During the procedure, you’ll be given a topical anaesthetic to numb the area and then as injectable filler is placed under the skin to remove wrinkles, correct the volume of the face, and lift any folds of skin.

Thanks Dr. Q!

Dr. Q has done my lip fillers and wrinkle reduction. Lots of people tell me I’m looking really well but my look is natural so they don’t always guess I’ve had any work done and that’s exactly what I wanted. Dr. Q listens well and therefore provides the look you want. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the clinic. Treatments are painless (I use anaesthetic cream for lip fillers). The clinic is clean and bright. Love my little visits!
